P&G, STARUF Sports Development celebrate children
Procter & Gamble Nigeria (P&G), leading makers of consumer packaged goods in partnership with STARUF Sports Development Limited (SSD) – Founded by Prince Peter Rufai – have sponsored youth under 13 and 17 in a football tournament to celebrate the world children’s day at the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, in Ikeja, Lagos.
The tournament was attended by Nigerian football legends including Mutiu Adepoju, Taju Disu, over a thousand children, representatives from P&G, Staruf Sports development limited and Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA)amongst others. Thefootball competition betweenthe teams from Staruf Academy and the Air Force Base,held in three categories including ‘under-13’ boys, ‘under-17’ boys and Adult categories. The Staruf Academy players won in all categories.
Students applaud Amstel As Curtain Falls On Tuface Campus Connect Tour
Nigerian students from tertiary institutions in Lagos have applauded Tuface and friends campus connect tour sponsored by Amstel Malt, the premium low sugar beverage drink from the stable of Nigerian Breweries plc which played host to Nigerian’s Afro hip hop singing sensation, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly called Tuface, and other talented musicians.
The tour which ended at the Indoor sports hall of the University of Lagos started from UNIBEN to UNIPORT, then to IMT, Enugu through to UNIABUJA before pitching tent in Lagos. It provided the platform for several budding and notable artistes to showcase their skills. They include: Ranson, Money B, Hype M.C, Efa, Young Grace, 2Sec, Rocksteady, Damy Crane, Sheyi Shay, Rough Coil, Vector, Solid Star, Phyno, Sound Sultan and the winner of Amstel Malta Show time in 2012.

The ambience at the event was euphoric as rave making music act, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid who sealed the show sent the audience into a wild frenzy when he stepped on stage.
