Obey You: Sprite Encourages Youth In New Global Campaign
Sprite has unveiled a new global campaign urging younger consumers to listen to their own desires and follow their own truths. The “voice of Sprite” serves as the protagonist in the spots, applauding Sprite bottles around the world for following their instincts and living up to their role as a thirst-quenching, lemon-lime beverage.
The themed “Obey You” includes a series of 20 films, where the voice behind the camera the voice of Sprite encourages youths to pursue their dreams in life.
Manchester United Signs Biggest Sponsorship Deal With Aon
Manchester United has signed an eight-year deal worth nearly $240m with Aon to sponsor the club’s training ground and training kit as the US insurance broker hopes to secure a place in the hearts of the football club’s huge Asian fan base.
In an attempt to retain links with the club and its growing fanbase across Asia, its training ground at Carrington will be renamed the Aon Training Complex and Aon replaces DHL as the club’s training kit sponsor.
‘Why SES Extend Business to Africa’
SES has revealed that one of its major reasons of extending their business to Africa is to contribute to the growing demand for a bigger and better telecommunications infrastructure in the continent.
According to the Media Relations & Communications Manager, Kirstin Steffen, the aim was to “allocate considerable resources to Africa because we believe that satellite is ideally suited to meet some of the continent’s biggest infrastructure challenges. While there are plans to increase fibre connectivity across the African continent, 700 million people have still no or only very limited access to the Internet. Through the use of satellite technology, SES can help to connect the unconnected which is key factor for economic success”.
Lagos State Lauds Ribena-Tetra Pak Recycling Campaign With Schools
Lagos State Government has expressed support for the Ribena-Tetra Pak “Drink it, Flatten it and Bin it” Recycling campaign that is on-going with twenty schools in Lagos State. This was made known at the Art and Craft Exhibition of items like shopping bags, bird house, slippers, etc., made from Ribena empty packs by pupils of Vicsum School.
Ms. Adetokunbo Agbesanwa, Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on School Advocacy, commended Ribena and its partner, Tetra Pak on the initiative. She said, “it is a laudable initiative from Ribena and we believe the children will learn from it. We all know how these wastes pollute the environment and we are glad that Ribena has come to save the situation. But we are not just saying they should drink, flatten and bin it; we are also saying they should reduce the amount of waste.”
